We have been seeing the work done in other neighborhoods close to our community. The work we see being done are new speed humps installed to keep our children safe from speeding vehicles. We would like to request additional speed humps to be installed particularly in the neighbor hood on Pointe South Drive. Many days we witness the drag racing by young adults that have no care in the world about our playing children. The Hinesville Police have been called multiple times but cannot seem to catch them in the act. If there were speed humps on these streets it would detour the cars from committing these acts so close to our homes. As a community we would just like to know that as our children are getting home from school, walking their dogs or playing they wouldn't have to worry about getting hit by one of these vehicles that cant seem to abide by the speed limit. If we are just not in the loop about additional plans to install these speed humps in our community I apologize for the idea.
