The Communications Department provides official information for the City of Hinesville. The department is also responsible for responding to requests from media, and using a variety of platforms to promote City events, resources, and initiatives.
The Communications Department plays a vital role in helping to engage members of the community by keeping them informed about what’s going on throughout the City and in their neighboring communities.
Daily functions include the creation and release of media advisories and press releases, management of online content and calendars, social media management and acting as City ambassadors.
