HINESVILLE, Ga. (Apr. 15th, 2023) – On Apr. 27th, the City of Hinesville along with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the “Touch-A-Truck” event from 3pm-7pm in downtown Hinesville. This is a hands-on event for our local kids and farmer’s market attendees. Children will be allowed to touch their favorite first-responder vehicles, get behind the wheel & meet the people who help to build, protect & serve our community.
Hinesville Fire & Police Departments will be in attendance, along with EMS, ESG and the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office. The event takes place Thursday, April 27th in downtown Hinesville at the Farmers Market from 3pm - 7pm. Part of Georgia Cities Week, sponsored by Southeastern Bank. The tradition started back in 2000 as an opportunity for all City employees to fellowship while also celebrating the accomplishments their peers.
