[ARCHIVED] Business Contact List for the City of Hinesville

Important Announcement Logo

Good afternoon,

COVID-19 had shed light on mass communications in a variety of ways and the City of Hinesville is not exempt from this.

During the initial stages of the pandemic, and over the course of several months, the City needed to communicate quickly with local businesses to make them aware of rapid-fire changes at the local, state and national levels. However, our methods of communication were limited to mailing letters, social media, website updates and word of mouth - whether by citizens communicating with each other or police officers delivering the message. This was not always as effective as we hoped.

You are receiving this email as a part of our efforts in order to create a more seamless and efficient way of communicating with our corporate citizens in Hinesville. This email is both a test and an announcement of this new system of communication between the City and businesses.

We have compiled all email addresses from our current licensure forms. We have added your email to our distribution list. Please read the following information carefully:

If you would like to continue to receive updates from us via email, you do not have to do anything.
If you do not want to receive updates from the City of Hinesville in the future, please send an email to Whitney Morris-Reed at wmorrisreed@cityofhinesville.org.
If you want to receive updates via text message instead, please send an email to Whitney Morris-Reed at wmorrisreed@cityofhinesville.org.
If you know of a business owner that did not receive this message and they would like to receive future updates, please have them send an email to Whitney Morris-Reed at wmorrisreed@cityofhinesville.org

Even with this new method of communication, we will still employ conventional methods for important announcements - but this will allow us to send messages quickly when letters will not reach the business community in time for changes to take effect. You will also be able to check updates and refer back to old announcements in the News Flash section of our website, which can be found here.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact us wmorrisreed@cityofhinesville.org or reach out to Yokesha Greene at ygreene@cityofhinesville.org

We look forward to communicating with you in the future.

Have a nice day,
Whitney
