Special Purpose Sales and Use Tax

The Special Purpose Sales and Use Tax is a one percent sales tax to help fund critical infrastructure needs of all governments in Liberty County, including the City of Hinesville. It is used to purchase ambulances, patrol cars, firetrucks, construct recreation improvements, pave roads and more. All registered voters in Liberty County will have the opportunity to vote for this one percent tax on November 8, 2016.
