Responsibilities
The Parks and Grounds Department is responsible for maintenance of the parks, islands and other grounds in the city to include the following services:

• Cutting grass
• Edging curbs and sidewalks
• Trimming shrubs
• Controlling weeds in all city maintained parks, islands and areas
• Upkeeping all city maintained areas
• Controlling litter in all city maintained areas, parks and islands
